Reflecting on Indy

by: Jamie Silva

I headed to Indy to attend the Colts rookie camp the weekend following the draft.  I felt that it went well. It was a lot of learning and practice was in helmets.  It was great to get back out on the football field.  Along with some of the rookies were other young players that had recently joined the team and are still becoming familiar with the system.  I was the only safety there. I received a lot of one on one attention from the defensive backs coach.  I met some of the veterans as they were working out around the facility. Everyone seemed real cool.

This week I am heading back down to attend an off season camp where the whole team will be involved. I am very excited to get out on the field with all of these guys. After this camp I will be staying for a few weeks to become more familiar with the organization so that when preseason camp comes around I will be as ready and as comfortable as possible.
